The President's pilgrims were solemnly welcomed at the Tashkent-North railway station

The ceremony of seeing off the Hajj pilgrims of the President from Bukhara, Navoi, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Andijan and Namangan regions was organized at a high level and in a high spirit.

The event was attended by officials, representatives of the older generation, the religious sphere, the general public, and relatives of the pilgrims. During the event, the conditions created in our country for pilgrims and the attention paid to their free and safe performance of the holy pilgrimage were emphasized.

The ceremony was accompanied by sincere wishes, prayers, and good intentions. Wishing the pilgrims a safe journey, prayers were offered for their safe return from the blessed journey.

The railway stations of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Shakhrisabz will be reconstructed and transferred to management based on public-private partnership (PPP) projects.

On June 17 of this year, a meeting was held at "Temir Yo'l Vokzallari" LLC with representatives of the Asian Development Bank and international experts and consultants.

The meeting was attended by S. Akhborkhanov, Deputy Head of the Railway Transport Department of the Ministry of Transport; S. Khamidov, First Deputy General Director of JSC "O'ztemiryo'lyo'lovchi"; M. Mamaraimov, Director of "Temir Yo'l Vokzallari" LLC; and responsible officials.

During the meeting, issues regarding the reconstruction and transfer of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Shakhrisabz railway stations to management based on PPP projects were discussed, as well as the current status and future tasks of the projects.

During the meeting, foreign experts participated online via the Zoom platform and shared their recommendations and proposals for modernizing railway stations, attracting investment, improving service quality based on international standards, and effectively implementing PPP projects

"Afrosiyob" will now also stop at Gulistan station!

Starting July 14, the Afrosiyob high-speed train will also stop at Gulistan station. Now, residents and guests of the Syrdarya region can more conveniently use high-speed train services on the Tashkent and Samarkand routes from Gulistan station.
